Creating Agents In VisNetic MailFlow

This article explains the necessary steps to create agents in VisNetic MailFlow.

From the VisNetic MailFlow Interface:

  1. Click the Administration link
  2. Click the Agents link under the User Configuration section
  3. Click the New button from the Agents toolbar
  4. Use the drop-down arrow to select whether the agent is a local user or an NT user. The NT user will use their NT password to login.
  5. Enter the agent User Name in the corresponding field
  6. Enter the agent Full Name in the Corresponding field
  7. Enter a password for the agent in the Password field
  8. If you want the agent to be able to escalate tickets to another agent, such as a supervisor, use the drop-down arrow and select the agent to escalate the tickets to.
  9. Make sure the Agent Status is set to Active using the drop-down arrow
  10. If you want to require the agent to Get Oldest messages from a ticketbox use the drop-down arrow for the corresponding option to enable Yes
  11. You can enter a Default Email Address in the corresponding field that is used as the default email address when an agent replies to a message
  12. Click the Save button from the New Agent toolbar
