Creating Agents In VisNetic MailFlow
This article explains the necessary steps to create agents in VisNetic
MailFlow.
From the VisNetic MailFlow Interface:
- Click the Administration link
- Click the Agents link under the User Configuration section
- Click the New button from the Agents toolbar
- Use the drop-down arrow to select whether the agent is a local user or an
NT user. The NT user will use their NT password to login.
- Enter the agent User Name in the corresponding field
- Enter the agent Full Name in the Corresponding field
- Enter a password for the agent in the Password field
- If you want the agent to be able to escalate tickets to another agent,
such as a supervisor, use the drop-down arrow and select the agent to
escalate the tickets to.
- Make sure the Agent Status is set to Active using the
drop-down arrow
- If you want to require the agent to Get Oldest messages from a
ticketbox use the drop-down arrow for the corresponding option to enable Yes
- You can enter a Default Email Address in the corresponding field that is
used as the default email address when an agent replies to a message
- Click the Save button from the New Agent toolbar
