Connect to the Adminstration console for Kerio Mail Server:
- Click on the Start menu and go to Programs, then Kerio, and then Administration Console.
- In the 'Connect to server' window, set 'Server Application to manage' to 'Kerio MailServer'.
- If the 'Connect to server' window is not present then left-click once on the 'Connect' button in the upper left corner and then proceed with step two.
- If you are using the computer Kerio MailServer is installed on then set 'Server Application is running on' to 'This computer (local).' If you are connecting to a remote installation of Kerio MailServer, then set 'Server Application is running on' to 'Remote Computer (DNS name or IP address)' and enter the domain name or IP address of the remote Kerio MailServer.
- In the 'Username' field, enter the name of a user account within Kerio MailServer that has read/write rights. The user name is 'Admin' by default.
- In the 'Password' field, enter the password for the user account listed in the 'Username' field. Typically this will be the password configured when Kerio MailServer was first installed.
- Click once on the 'Connect' button.
- Proceed on to the next section titled 'Locate your license number and version information.'
Locate your license number and version information:
- The first window to appear after logging into the Administration Console will list Kerio MailServer's version number and license number.
- The version number will appear to the right of the word 'Product:'.
- The License number will appear to the right of the word 'License ID:'.
- If the words 'Unregistered trial version' appears to the right of 'License ID:' then Kerio MailServer has not been licensed yet.
