WinRoute Firewall

WinRoute Firewall can not be installed on the same computer as WinGate. You must uninstall WinGate before you can install WinRoute Firewall.

To uninstall WinGate go to Start - Settings - Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs and look for the WinGate uninstall.

 

If you already uninstalled WinGate and you continue to receive this error search the registry (Start - Run - regedit) for entries that include QbikHK, depending on your operating system, you will find an entry named QbikHK2k or QbikHKXP or QbikHK9x. These entries relate to the WinGate NAT driver and may not have been removed by the WinGate uninstall. Once you remove the entries from the registry, run the WinRoute Firewall installation process again.
